Our Process
At Life Is Short Adventures, we match clients with travel suppliers around the world to create customized trip itineraries based on each client’s budget, preferences and passions.
Our process is personalized and flexible, but can be summarized in five steps:
Discover: We get to know you, your travel preferences, passions and budget. Once we have an idea of what you have in mind, we will provide you with a planning fee quote. Typical fees can be found here.
Design: Upon payment of our planning fee, we collaborate with the travel partner(s) who best align with your preferences to create a travel plan and pricing for all elements of your trip whether that be flights, transfers, rental car, accommodations, tours and/or activities.
Review: We will provide you with a draft proposal with pricing for review. You can approve the plan as is or provide feedback and request revisions.
Revise/Book: Based on your feedback, our team either starts booking all elements of your trip or we work with our suppliers to make changes to ensure that the trip matches your travel dreams.
Finalize: Your final itinerary is built in a GPS-based app with all confirmations and tour details along with suggestions for self-guided sights and restaurant recommendations. We invite you to forward any tickets for self-guided sights or reservation confirmations to us no later than two weeks before departure to include in your itinerary. Final itineraries are provided at least seven days before departure.
